Two and a half years ago, a suicide bomber blasted at the Mavud Academy tuition center, killing about 40 students. All of them were children of minority Hazara community, who were preparing for college entrance examinations. Nazibullah Yousefi (38), a teacher who survived one such blast in August 2018, has now shifted to a new place with his students. They also have a plan for the next blast.

They say, 'I am in my class and may even get killed. But this time to save my children, I will hug the attacker, so that he does not explode. '

the most violence so far, the Hazara community has suffered the most violence in Afghanistan. But now things are changing. With the fear of the Taliban diminishing, the youth of this community are returning to the colleges. They have dreams to overcome their fears and to pursue higher education by staying in their own country. Marjia Mohseni, an 18-year-old student, says that if the Taliban returns to power, they fear losing their right to pursue their education, but the military has given them the assurance of security.

Marjia wants to become a lawyer to help everyone in the country get their rights. Most Hazara students come from poor families. 15 dollars (about 1 thousand rupees) live in the hostels of the month. There are many of them who are the first to get education in their family. Everyone hopes that they will graduate and do jobs to change their family's financial situation and their present.

For years Pashtuns have been a persecuted Shia Muslim of the rich
. Hazara community is only 10 to 20 percent of Afghanistan's 3.5 crore population. These are predominantly Shia Muslims and persecuted the Pashtun rich of Afghanistan at the end of the 19th century. Hazara people have been the worst victims of attacks on tuition centers, mosques, hospitals and polling stations in the last few years. IS also claimed responsibility for most of the attacks.
